Jongware – I’m using Acrobat X.
Thanks Dave an Jongware for letting me “talk” this one through.
I found my work-around. I went back to my original EPS file that the shape in ID was next to. In Illustrator, I saved the same EPS file as an Illustrator file. Re-imported it into my ID file and now the shape is exporting fine to PDF. So the EPS was the problem for whatever the reason.
The only reason the duplicate worked is because I moved it away from the EPS image. I think it’s something that the EPS is doing to the shape.
Is there any way to send you a screen shot or the PDF? Doesn’t seem like I can add an image to this post.
Hummm – think I just figured it out. I duplicated the shape and placed it away from the EPS that is above it and the duplicated shape converted fine in the PDF. Now, how do I get the two to like each other?????
Nope – definitely a PSD. I do have an EPS butting up next to it. Might that have something to do with it?
Hey David.
I’m opening the PDF with Acrobat Pro.
