    The reverse, I want to export it as XML! The manual process would be-

    Open the doc
    Check out the linked InCopy files
    Tag each each textframe with the InCopy filename (or do you apply the tag to the InCopy file itself rather than the ID textframe?)
    Export as XML
    Check in everything and close

    So the resulting XML will look like (the order doesn’t matter):

    <STORYH1>text</STORYH1>
    <STORY>text</STORY>

    etc etc

    Is that possible?

    Hi David, thanks for the reply, by tag I mean an XML tag that will show up in the structure pane
