    I think you'll find that the images are fine. Remember you are only looking at a low res preview anyway. Even text when rotaed can look horrible until you print. Make a PDFx1a pdf of the page and see if it looks ok. Should be fine

    Yes thanks. I was trying to avoid that type of fiddly workand thought that perhaps it could be done easily somehow. Maybe there's a script floating around somewhere…
