    Thankyou so much David! :) Yes, it would be extendscript… I will tell him and he can post his question there. Hopefully someone has come across this little problem before. :)

    Thanks David, my hope is dashed. :)
    So you are saying that even though these files are in the recovery folder there is no hope of recovering them?
    I was opening old documents that I had bought years ago and they were “converting” in indesign 2019. Given I trust what you say completely I will now try torecreate them. :(

    Lesson learnt… I think :)
