David BlatnerKeymasterInDesign should import all the rows, including the header row. You are using File > Place, yes? Maybe make sure the Import Options dialog box is including all the rows?
I think you should be able to do both cell borders and a border frame. But you have to apply the cell styles INSIDE the table style definition. If you apply the cell styles “on top” of the frame style (separately, as “local formatting”) then it may not work.
David BlatnerKeymasterWhy not use the eyedropper tool and then look in the Colors panel?
David BlatnerKeymasterThe Cross-references panel (in hyperlinks) lets you create cross-document x-refs… it can be a little clunky and slow at times if there are a lot of them. I usually recommend having all the documents open at the same time when you're doing this.

David BlatnerKeymasterOpen the story in Edit > Edit in Story Editor and make sure type > show hidden characters is on. Any chance you have an indent to here character after the word “All” in that paragraph?

David BlatnerKeymasterHard to know why the text is disappearing. Some ideas in here: https://creativepro.com/the…..g-text.php
But I rarely use indent to here anymore; much easier to set a positive left indent and negative first line indent: https://creativepro.com/how…..margin.php
David BlatnerKeymasterThat's right. I don't think there's going to be anything inside ID that can do what you need. Maybe a custom script.
David BlatnerKeymasterNope.
What is it about the blog post solution (numbering in a separate frame) that doesn't work for you?
David BlatnerKeymasterOh, that's funny. I didn't look to see who had written it! :)
Here's an article about that: https://creativepro.com/num…..f-text.php

David BlatnerKeymasterDon't know of anything like that, sorry.
David BlatnerKeymasterSee this forum thread: https://creativepro.com/for…..ne-numbers
David BlatnerKeymasterInstead of piecing them together with the book panel, you might consider placing one INDD file into another:

David BlatnerKeymasterNo, it has nothing to do with whether there is a master page applied to the first page, or if there is a running head variable there. The running head picks up the last use of the text with the particular paragraph style. Perhaps you did not choose the correct paragraph style when defining your running head text variable?

David BlatnerKeymasterSounds like you're getting close. Here's one article about it:

But you can change the Mode pop-up menu to “Start At” and then set it to 2 (to make the list always start at 2).
David BlatnerKeymasterYup, here you go: https://creativepro.com/fre…..g-math.php

David BlatnerKeymasterDo you mean you want to move all the objects on a layer across ALL pages in the document? InDesign does not allow you to select objects on more than one spread at a time, unfortunately.
There is a script called adjustlayout that can help in some cases. See blog post and comments afterward at:
