David BlatnerKeymasterNot sure what you mean by “before the first column”
You might be able to do this easily with nested styles… such as “no style up to the first digit” then your underline style up to a space. Would that work?
David BlatnerKeymasteryes… Bart mentioned this a week or so ago in this blog post:
https://creativepro.com/watch-duplicating-interactive-buttons.phpfrustrating…
David BlatnerKeymasterHm! Try reloading the web page (cmd/ctrl-R). The Forum link was removed for a short time (while the developers were working on it), but I see it now.
That said, I am concerned that we may lose some of these newer forum threads in an effort to get the old threads back. We’ll see… fingers crossed that we can keep both!
David BlatnerKeymasterIs this just one document? Or does it happen on a brand new document?
David BlatnerKeymasterI don’t think so, besides the painful document dictionary set up you describe. ID isn’t really designed to handle that kind of situation.
David BlatnerKeymasterArgh! I’m so sorry to hear this. We’ve switched to a new forum software and we’ve had a huge number of problems with it. I HATE losing work, even forum posts, so I sympathize. We hope to have this resolved very soon and be back on track next week.
David BlatnerKeymasterI was going to suggest a grep style, but they don't appear to work on hyphens that ID inserts at a line break. Fascinating!
However, it is usually relatively easy to create a custom font based on another font using tools from FontLab.com
David BlatnerKeymasterI believe Acrobat can help. See the comments after this blog post: https://creativepro.com/spl…..-files.php
David BlatnerKeymasterAlso, Anne-Marie wrote this up with a PDF a few years back: https://creativepro.com/dow…..ctions.php

David BlatnerKeymasterYes. Very annoying, because I like having the application bar turned on.

David BlatnerKeymasterUnfortunately, the only interactive element that works on most (and even then, not all) ipad pdf readers is hyperlinks.
See this post: https://creativepro.com/nav…..n-ipad.php
David BlatnerKeymasterThere is an Orientation control in the Print dialog box.
March 21, 2013 at 4:57 am in reply to: How to paste a letter/phrase into the numerous cells instantly? #64452
David BlatnerKeymasterGreat question! Try this: Paste the word into one cell. Then select the cell (not the text in the cell, but the cell itself… press Escape to do that). Then select all the cells and paste.
David BlatnerKeymasterProbably no way to do it automatically… maybe a script or a way to convert them to regular text? See some options here:
