Thank you both.
When doing a spiral bound is it still easiest to work in facing pages? I would assume if the printer wants singles pages it doesn’t make a difference for them, but for myself I would think it may be easier…is that correct?
One more question for you…
In the spiral bound or the 3 hold punch would you suggest making the inner margin (where the binding would be) wider than the outer margins or should they be symmetrical?
Thanks so much.
So pdf file in single pages for the printer but to show the client do spreads when saving as pdf..got it!
I know, I get confused when I think about the layout and imposing!! LOL
Thank you for your response. Sorry for my ignorance on this subject but this program is not my expertise.
When I output to a print ready pdf will it show the pages next to each other like facing pages or does it show them each alone?
Is there an option I would have to make sure to click on or if the set up is facing pages in indesign, it will auto save that way as a pdf?
Does that make sense?
I am worried that the client is not going to know who the printer is they are using and I will be on my own with this…
And as far as imposing, I would just work in reader view…1,2…3,4….4,5…6,7…etc as page setup and then they printer will go and make sure that page 2 is with page 7, etc….so it works once printed out..is the correct?
Thanks again
