Per the Adobe Intro to Scripting, I entered app.documents.add() into the Javascript Console panel and ran it from there. I got the error message, ?Result: undefined.? As I mentioned, this worked with Photoshop, but not InDesign.
Since my original post, I discovered that app.documents.add() works correctly, and I get an open document, when I type it into the main edit window and run it from there.
So for me, with CS6 on Windows 7 64-bit, app.documents.add() works in the main edit window, but not the Javascript Console panel. Is this a glitch, or is it how things are supposed to work?
