ParticipantI can give you some reason to be optimistic. In the most recent Windows Insider builds Edge has been dramatically improved. In fact, it’s fabulous in my tests. I used a 750 MB fixed layout epub containing audio, video, animations, MSOs and everything rendered flawlessly.
You can join the Windows Insider program directly from Windows 10 in the Windows Update window. Choose fast ring. You won’t want to do this with a production machine but I don’t think there’s any horrible danger right now since things are getting locked down for a Sept/Oct release.
For Windows 7 you have my sympathies. All I can suggest is keeping an eye on Readium 2.0 and hope it works as well as the original Chrome extension.

ParticipantI just tried a few things with a quick test file I put together with end notes. Something certainly seems broken.
Edit: I just opened InCopy CC2018 and there is no endnote feature. I’m not sure what to tell you about this but I’m not sure how this got through.

ParticipantInDesign CS6 is NOT 64 bit. InDesign CC is the first 64 bit version.
Photoshop was the first of the Creative Suite apps to go 64 bit at CS4 on Windows and CS5 on Mac.
Illustrator, IIRC got the 64 bit upgrade at CS6.

ParticipantCreate a text file with your numbers. On the master page create a new text frame. Create a paragraph style for the page number and make sure to set it to always start in a new frame. Select the master text frame and assign that paragraph style. Go to the first page of your document and place the text file into that master text frame.
It should flow throw your document. It's not auto numbering but it's a lot easier than it sounds. You can very easily create the text file in Excel.

ParticipantMy standard advice for this is to export to PDF and open the PDF in Photoshop. From there you'll have a lot more control over the output.

ParticipantHow comfortable are you with editing html and css?
The easiest fix is to just add some some margin to the img tag in the css file.

ParticipantPeople have been complaining about this forever. There's a very lenghty thread on Adobe's forums where various “fixes” are discussed: https://forums.adobe.com/message/2381940

ParticipantHonestly, the best way is to learn how to edit the CSS and HTML. Create a class for the image and apply a float to it. Be aware that sometimes the img tag can wind up within another tag such as the p tag.
BTW, if you're not already using CS5.5 you should be if you're doing Epub work. It's dramatically better than any earlier version of InDesign.

ParticipantWell, there's this app for the iPad: https://itunes.apple.com/us/app…..41696?mt=8

ParticipantWhat did you use in the hyperlink? The proper way to do it is mailto:me@mydomain.com
If you did that, did you choose to include hyperlinks when exporting?
Bob Levine
ParticipantYou need to read the PDF documentation that is supplied with the tools. There is very little support for native InDesign animations though slideshows created using MSOs are one of them.
Finally, saying something doesn't work gives us nothing to go on. We need complete details and you should keep in mind that if you're using the prerelease drops you have some NDA considerations to keep in mind.
Bob Levine
ParticipantFar be it from me to question all that, but I'd really like to know what kind of content is in that PDF and what type of viewing experience you want for the viewer?
Are there buttons? Hyperlinks? Photos? Will it be printed or just viewed on screen? Do you expect everyone to view it in Reader? In a browser? Will it be downloaded?
Your definition of small and lightweight would be help, too as would the version of InDesign you're using.

ParticipantIs there transparency on the page? What's the transparency blend space set to?
