I’m updating a book. It came to me as one InDesign file, no book features. I broke it into sections so that when adding pages, it would not effect chapters that follow.
I don’t know if the printer would have a problem with it in book format. Besides that, final edits have been made with it put back together.
I have not heard back from the client since the last edits. He may have sent the pdf to the printer, in which case there’s no need for any fixing. If I need to, I’ll try Dwayne’s suggestion.
