Thanks for answers. I do my best to avoid moving back and trying is not an option when working with books 200-1000 pages. Reason for asking is I got stuck in the middle with the release of 2022. Working on Mojave and a machine that is too old to update enough. Do not want to update (buy new) but might have to depending of customers. Also using a lot of different versions of Indd and realized that new computer just let you istall 2 versions. Working with books and having to go back and correct new editions in old programs is a hassle due to all the new versions. I have about 10 different versions of indd on computers with different mac OS.
I have the same problem. Played around with it today and saw that it has to do with what color I choose in the settings of InDesign. I like the white one and there it is impossible to see the cursor but if I change to dark or black it works fine. I also tried to delete the preferens file for indesign but it did not help. Would be nice to se what you are doing in all color settings though.
