    Actually in looking further, the Xtags thing may work. I started this whole process with xtags. It does seem to flow in correctly that way. Thank you for the suggestion. I have been going in circles with this for the past week.

    I downloaded the demos and am very intimidated. Im not sure I have the time to learn a whole new way so I think I need to continue on in finding a consultant. Do you know any good consultants I can hire to help me fix this? = )

    Yes I have, a few times = ). I based this all on his course at Lynda but something still isnt adding up. I created it and styled it in InDesign to start, exported as XML, then reimport into a clean document. I also tried an xml file that i created outside of Indesign.

    What we are doing is finally taking a directory from Quark 6.5 into InDesign. I started out doing it the same way Quark does it with just basic tagged text. But then found out that doesnt support the inline graphics. So I went the XML route thinking that the way I need to go.

    This software you suggested seems to do what I am trying to achieve. I can look further into that.
