MemberI don't think this is posiible (maybe as a png file?). Or maybe you could do it via object -> clipping path -> and then select find edges. Maybe this will remove the background zo you only have the main logo or whatever?
Just throwing some ideas around:)
Hope it helps!

MemberYes but the thing is that i need the exact same table on every page and I don't know if Indesign knows that when I click the plus sign, he has to place the exact same table onto the next page? Or am i not making sense?

Edit: Found it :p, easy catalog is epic!

MemberNice! It worked! :)
Now I have another question :). Is it possible to just continue importing the data, and that indesign goes autmatically to the next page? Or do i have to copy the table and the importing the data for the second page etc? It would be awesome if it just could be done automatically, i've done the formatting for the table manually, and i just have one character style for the data.
thx! (really learing a lot here!)

MemberThx! Feeling kinda stupid I hadn't thought about that :p.
I'll defenitely try it.
Great forum btw!

MemberOk so I managed to get only the part of what i need into indesign! thx :).
The only thing is that i can't seem to place the part of the excel table i need into an empty existing table (with exception the first column and row) into indesign. Now i just place the part onto the indesign table so it overlaps, and then i fit it in properly.
Maybe not the best solution but still.
Another thing i noticed is that when i update the table, the formatting in indesign just vanishes. I already messed around with the smart styles plugin, which is nice but not really good for the layout of this huge table. So I guess i'll have to make some table, cell & character styles in Indesign, and just fix it every time it needs updating.
I would love to see the import and layout settings improve in CS6!

MemberThanks! I'll defenitely try that!
I think the problem with the calculations is the fact that i have one cell in excel that all the other cells use to calculate, but i don't need that one cell in indesign, so its not in the indesign document.
