MemberThanks for the reply.
The pdf's look much the same and that is using many different presets as well as the preset the printer sent.
I am so confused at this point.
Thanks,
Jordan

MemberThanks so much for the suggestions. I checked both, and it looks like I have the transparency flattener set to high resolution as well as my scaling set to 100% on both the x and y. I'm also working with a text InDesign document set in Adobe Garamond, and it also seems to print out rather poorly – it looks pixilated and not clear. To make sure it wasn't my printer, I printed a document in Word, also set up in Adobe Garamond and it looked great! I feel like it must be a setting but I can't imagine what it could be.
I am working on a book cover and am using Adobe Jenson font for the title. When I print it out with no effects, it's fine. But when I add the bevel and emboss attribute to the title, it becomes jagged looking along the inner and outer edges on both the screen and when I print it out. I then went into Illustrator and created the title in that program and added the 3D extrude and bevel and free distort attributes, and same thing, quality not good.
I am stumped and would appreciate any other thoughts!
