This is my dilemma; I created my image heavy book in Indesign, exported it as an epub and converted it with Kindle Previewer. The table of contents and text are exactly as I want them, I am thrilled. But the photos display on a Kindle Fire at about 80% of a full page. This is despite trying 100% width in the css and html files and also using width;800 height;1280 (the size of the images).
Now when I used the Kindle Comic Creator my images display perfectly, they take up the full screen and zooming in is possible. But creating text in this program is very time consuming and the Indesign version is exactly what I want. If I have to I’ll format the text in this program but I’d like to know if there’s an alternative.
So before I ask my questions I will say that full page image display is my priority. And this is what I’d like to know
Is there a way to get a full size image on a mobi using Indesign? Is there a css and or html code for this?
Can text be formatted on Kindle Comic Creator as well as in Indesign? My formatting is very simple, just font, size, and headings with no images on the text pages.
Am I better off creating a fixed format document with Jutoh 2?
Thanks for reading this,I really appreciate it.
