I work on a creative team that designs web assets for car dealerships. We support a large client base and currently export a high volume of over 10,000 assets per month. Recently my team upgraded to 2015 Macbook Pro workstations and we’re all using Adobe InDesign CC 2015.0 (11.0.1.105).
We started experiencing this display malfunction with drop shadow effects on text frames recently. The initial effects are rendering as intended, but with any modification to the text frame (scale/resize/etc.) the shadows immediately produce unpredictable appearances, which is giving a preview that is far from accurate.
The shadows seem to be scaling at a different percentage than the text. Here is a screenshot showing the effects window with the previewed artwork:

The exported JPG file (thankfully) renders the shadows properly:

I have to suspect this is a bug with InDesign but we have not been able to troubleshoot very much. At least 5 designers on the same systems are encountering this problem. Here is an extreme example, as you can imagine this is becoming quite a headache if you consider the volume we produce:

Looking for any help to discover what is causing this problem. Thanks in advance!
