    Hello,

    I have a customer who is publishing an investment report twice a year to his investors.

    There is cover letter saying

    <<ADRESS>>

    Dear Mr John Doe,

    blablablablabla
    blablablablabla

    List of investments

    Investment Company A
    Investment Company C
    Investment Company F

    +

    in separates files Reporting Company A, Reporting Company C, Reporting Company F

    Every investor is investing in different companies (number of companies varies for each investor).
    Every reporting document has graphic design adapted manually to its containt.

    Do you think there is a way to do this with data merge and to generate a file per customer in PDF format ready to print ?

    Data Merge could work; it depends on how the spreadsheet or database is set up to export. There are more powerful tools that might help even more, such as InData from emsoftware.com.
