Reply To: Turn off Frame Edge Highlighting?

You can just switch to any other tool other than a selection tool. Like the text tool. Then frames are not highlighted, they are only highlighted with the selection tool. I usually have the text tool on 90% of the time out of habit, and I use CTRL to click objects which is a modifier key to get back to the selection tool.

While I'm at it I have to say I hate the placement of the Page and Gap Tool in the Tool Panel, it should be at the bottom.
