If you are working in Windows 7 or more and you’re not admin of the “machine”, some scripts don’t work because of the windows restrictions. A user cannot create files (some scripts write to disk) if he has no admin authority. Sometimes it helps by copying the scripts to the application folder. They are then “linked” to Indesign in stead of the user.
