Reply To: New user question – resizing frames

As far as I know there's no automated way to do that, even in CS5 you'll most likely do it manually using Smart Guides or… You could copy the height of the original frame and then, after setting the second frame's anchor to the top, paste the height value and hit Enter (Return on Mac).

Aligning both frames isn't really necessary if you use the second method. If you want to manually resize the second frame (a.k.a. by dragging) aligning is necessary.
