I don’t think it’s a demo problem. I had something similar happen to me and it was what Justin described in #1. I had not put anything on top, so I was confused; but then I realized I used the slider feature (the thing that lets me swipe from one page to the next), and I think that put a big invisible object on top of everything. Check those output settings.
