Reply To: CS6 Crashing Constantly

I am new to Indesign being a Quark user for 20 odd years. I just installed Indesign C£6 from a Mastersuite disk having upped my RAM to 20GB on a 2 year old Imac. It worked for a couple of days, albeit with regular quits, but now I have the same problem as above ie quitting on startup saying that Indesign has stopped unexpectedly. I have restarted which didn’t help, and was about to reinstall but think I should ditch preferences first – where do I find the right file? A Spotlight search showed up several. What am I looking for and where please?
