1. For your Text Frame – create an object Style

Go to – Text Frame Baseline Options

Use Custom Baseline

Set it at whereever you want the chapter to begin

In the Chapter Heading Style, go to

Indents and Spacing> Set the Align to Grid>All Lines

Now the Chapter Heading will snap to Custom Baseline Grid you created.

3. Bookmarks are set in the Layout>Table of contents

It should be ticked alread – CREATE PDF BOOKMARKS

4. I can't really tell without seeing it – doesn't look like your image uploaded… but generally it's not an issue.

2. The Table of Contents will use the same style – unless you specify not to.

The best thing to do is to get a few “sample” chapter headings, perhaps the longest chapter headings.

Setup styles for these as in TOC Level 1 (e.g., TOC = “table of contents”), TOC Level 2, etc. (that is if you have more than one level).

When you create the Table of Contents via the Layout menu – when you select the style for Chapter Headings, make sure that the “Entry Style” is set to the TOC Level 1, level 2 etc.
