Reply To: Keep Option in Paragraph Style Conflicts with TOC

There are two possibilities that I can think of.

First, is what Jake said. Did you set up the TOC Style to use a different style than “Section Header?” Set up separate, dedicated paragraph styles for the TOC that will display when you place it. For example “TOC Section Header.” Then set up your TOC style to include the “Section Header” and apply the “TOC Section Header” paragraph style. ID will grab the content of Section Header and display it according to the TOC Section Header paragraph style. (Be sure NOT to base this style on the Section Header para style unless you change the keep options in the TOC Section Header para style.)

If you do have separate TOC para styles set up and applied correctly, it could be that the separate TOC paragraph style is “based on” the Section Header paragraph style and is pulling in its keep options.
