I don't know what could have gone wrong with your file, but it sounds like something is very bad.

Can you export the file as IDML, then open that new IDML file back in InDesign?


No, that's another problem! When I try to export the file as IDML, the blue line goes to the right and stops cold about a 1/4″ from the far right….at Graph 50. It won't finish past Graph 50. Help.

And by the way, the gal with the CS4 who worked on this long document—she ONLY did the Index for me. She supposedly didn't touch a thing before that. Could this have anything to do with the Index by chance…but why would it stop a Graph 50, which is 46 pages before the Index in this 385 page book??
