Is there more than one book file? When the subeditors open a chapter 'from the book', are they using a book file on a server?

I work with books a lot but have no sub-editors. Occasionally, I see the warning you describe. Since the warning applies to the book file only, wisely or not, I ignore it. The book file seems to have become very fussy in ID CS3 and CS4.
