This might be related, we came across a similar problem with Microsoft products and Adobe when copying and pasting information. It seems that Microsoft insist on using the language setting of the computer to set its numbers, Adobe does not. In my case our Macintosh was running the French system so all numbers were treated as 1000,00$ but American is $1,000.00, so we finally figured out that we had to change the language of the computer to “English US” in order for things to work. But since we are bilingual and work with both languages we are often changing the settings back and forth.
