Reply To: Drop Shadow affecting text

I have almost a similar problem.

A textbox filled with letters, font style regular (no problem).
On the same page, a photo.jpg (no problem).
But if I add a dropshadow to the photo (or any other box for that matter) the text becomes “bold and jagged”.
It doesn´t matter if text and photo are one the same or different layers.
If I remove the dropshadow, the text reverts to fine and crisp “regular” style.

Here is the reason and solution for my problem.

Every time a textbox has a background fill of NONE, the problem occurs.
So by choosing anything than NONE, say paper, the problem disappears.
