@Tom: I may have been mistaken about the commercial version. I had come across a website with a “commercial” tab for the fonts, but apparently it was for other fonts. I checked more around, and the free version is allowed for personal or commercial reasons.

I”m with David that it’s not a random smudge (it affects the “a” and “l”.

It is weird, though, that it only affects two style sheets. Are the H&Js the same for those two styles as elsewhere? Any custom kerning or tracking in those affected paragraphs/styles?
