All the formatting should be okay. I’d be worried about text reflowing (i.e., line breaks changing). And I’d be leery of downsaving and updating too many times. I’d be worried about the file getting corrupted.

I’m not sure what Adobe cloud license you have, but you may be able to get the previous version of CS6 (cloud version).
