Weird, in my test it only added the tracking after the “r”. Yeah I dont know why but it seems to be able to apply kerning values, it has to be done manually. I was hoping that using tracking would be a work around.

Have you tried Peter Kahrel’s Kerning script? I just ran across it and it might do the trick for what you’re needing. https://www.kahrel.plus.com/indesign/kern.html
