InDesign How-To: Use Data Merge in a Table Using a Script
In this InDesign how-to video, Chad Chelius demos a script that lets you use data merge within a single table. Taken from his popular scripts session at CreativePro Week 2020, he uses the CSV2Tables script to add functionality missing from InDesign’s native data merge feature.

Pictire fields should be inserted into table cells as inline objects. If a pictire field is placed into graphic table cell, then the script declines to work.
Thank you! Was just struggling with that one!!
Now it works like a charm, and it’s a godsend ;o)
could someone share a link for the script, please?!
You can find it here https://creativepro.com/using-data-merge-to-create-a-table-for-a-directory/
Thanks, Chad. I also added a link in the post.
Hi, the link for the script is not working for me. Is there a different place to get this script from?
