About
Robert is an eLearning developer, designer, and accessibility specialist. In his work for Think Systems, Inc., Robert delivers beautiful, engaging, interactive, and accessible eLearning courses that make complex and detailed topics easier to learn and retain.
He strongly believes accessibility is a right and the right thing to do, and this core belief informs his work at all levels. Relying on visuals, infographics, audio, video, and more to engage learners, Robert regularly relies on accessibility practices such as alt text, color contrast, tab order, closed captions, and audio descriptions to help learners get the most out of their eLearning experiences.
Additionally, Robert provides regular training, coaching, and mentoring on accessibility topics for colleagues in and outside his team. You can find Robert at robertsmelser.com, on Mastodon as @robertsmelser, on Bluesky as @that-robert, and on LinkedIn as @robertsmelser.
