About
Jack Watson is a multidisciplinary designer specializing in branding and web design, fueled by coffee and donuts, based in Chicago, IL. She started out as a medical illustrator, spent some time as an animator, and eventually landed in UI/UX design. The 10 years of experience in medical illustration and educational publishing informs the decisions she makes as a designer, by understanding how people learn. As much as she loves solving design problems, she also loves weaving stories into her designs through animation and illustration. Her tools of choice are Adobe XD, Adobe Illustrator, A variety of other Adobe CC apps on the desktop and iPad, Figma, a pencil, paper, and her brain. She also enjoys experimenting with animation, specifically CSS animations. She's worked with many small to medium businesses, both new and established, to help them tell their story and reach their audience with accessibility as a part of the process—from project discovery, to strategy, to final deliverables. Her unique skills and experience have helped her to mentor other creatives as a community expert, mentor, and moderator in the official Adobe product Discords, through live streaming every Saturday and Sunday at 4pm Eastern on Behance, YouTube, and Twitch, and hosting a variety of content on Adobe Live including the Adobe Illustrator Creative Challenges and Pro Tips. Additionally, She's a part of a small group of incredible individuals called the Art Squad, which organizes weekly virtual meetings and occasional collaborative projects together.
