About
Courtney Allen is an award-winning presentation designer, creative strategist, and founder of 16X9 — a global presentation design agency known for elevating complex ideas into clear, high-impact stories. Over the past decade, she has partnered with Fortune-level brands, event producers, and agencies to craft presentations that inform, inspire, and move audiences across the globe.
From 2018 to 2020, Courtney worked as a contracted Art Director with Microsoft’s PowerPoint team, helping to shape hundreds of templates downloaded by millions of users worldwide. This experience solidified her expertise in creating scalable, consistent, and story-driven design systems that balance beauty with clarity.
Her work has been seen on global stages spanning over 35 countries, from major product launches to C-suite keynotes. She’s particularly passionate about designing with intention — making thoughtful choices that honor diverse audiences without sacrificing impact.
Accessibility and cultural awareness are cornerstones of her approach: she believes good design should act as a bridge, not a barrier. Through her agency, she leads a distributed team of designers across three continents, delivering fast-turnaround decks that blend strategy, storytelling, and design excellence.
Courtney is also a frequent speaker and educator on presentation strategy, inclusive communication, and the evolving role of design in a world increasingly shaped by AI.
