Update to Photo Geocoding App

Houdah Software is pleased to announce the immediate availability of HoudahGeo 2.4, the premiere photo geocoding solution for the Mac. HoudahGeo is tightly integrated with iPhoto Places and is able to access both Aperture and Lightroom libraries. It offers a myriad of ways to geocode and publish photos.
Enhancements brought along by HoudahGeo 2.4 include:
* New feature: Geocoding using reference photos
A new way of using iPhone for geocoding. This allows for geocoding photos taken with your regular camera by matching them to photos taken with your iPhone.
* New feature: Support for compass-enabled GPS devices
HoudahGeo may now automatically compute viewing direction from heading and direction offset. E.g. when looking out of the side window.
* New feature: Support for speed readings
HoudahGeo now uses speed readings recorded by some GPS devices.
* New feature: Support for US units
You may now chose to view altitude in feet and speed in feet/second or mph.
* New feature: Map geocoding
The map geocoding window now has a search field which allows for looking up addresses.
* Enhancement: Google Earth geocoding
Google Earth geocoding has an improved interface with room for a larger preview image.
* Bug fix: Map inspector
The map inspector has been improved so that it no longer slows down batch geocoding operations.
* Bug fix: Reverse geocode
HoudahGeo 2.4 improves reliability of reverse geocoding using Google Maps.

* Universal Binary for PowerPC & Intel
* Digital camera
* Optional GPS track logger
* Optional iPhone 3G or 3GS

HoudahSpot 2.4 is priced at $30 (USD) for a single-user license. It is a free upgrade for all registered HoudahGeo 1.x and 2.x customers.
