      Hello,

When exporting in ePub reflowable, all the triangles used in paragraph lists (with a paragraph style of course) are removed and replaced by standard bullets. Even if i choose “Convert in text” in the ePub text options.

I got an error like “Glyphid bullets can’t be exported in HTML format. Standard bulleted will be used instead” (english translation from french…).

Have you got any suggestions in order to insert triangles correctly instead of bullets in paragraph lists ?

      I use actually “Wingdings 3 regular” font (GID 102, unicode : F084).

Many thanks for those who can help me !

I’m not sure how to do it from an InDesign export, but if you were to unzip your ePub you could insert a list-style-image attribute into your list class to include a triangle image that would/should replace the standard bullets. You also might have to play with the image size and alignment to get it to look right.

If you’re really adventurous, you could try this li:before CSS trick for using a specific embedded font glyph, I’m not sure if its supported anywhere but it might be worth a try to check: https://codepen.io/mburnette/pen/rdGJc

      Anyway, hope that helps,

      Aaron

        Hello Aaron,

        Many thanks for your answer.

Actually i have chosen the first way : i have created an attribute for the list class and i upload for every ebook the triangle image in the image folder. It works pretty well.

Concerning the second way, i visited your link and my Mozilla Firefox is not able to see the icon, so i assume that ereaders also won’t !

        Best regards.
