Hi, I wonder if anyone can help me?

I am using a font that has a font style of ‘Fill In’ and ‘Outline’, and are meant to be used together one on top of the other.

If I am using the outline style on a white background it is perfectly clear. However, if I want to overwrite images or block colour, that shows through the centre of the outline style.

To compensate for this, I have to duplicate the text box and paste it over the top. I then have to manually change the text box positioned in front to having a text style of ‘outline’ in black, and the bottom having a text style of ‘fill in’ in white.

Is there a way that I can type into one text box and have both font styles display without having to copy and paste text boxes on top of each other? I’ve been told that it is indeed possible by a colleague who has seen it done before.

I’m guessing this is some combination of paragraph/character styles, but I can’t seem to achieve it.

      Thank you,

      Jon.

I tried to recreate this; the only way I see it done in one text box is by interlacing the letters and adjusting Tracking and Baseline Shift in Styles, and also manually where needed. Basically it’s a pain to set it all in one text box. There are ways to make the stacking process easier if you’re doing this several times. Just give us an idea of what this is for.
