      Hi all,

Is there a way to automatically hide a running header on the first page of a chapter? The page that the title itself appears on. A way without having to override the master page elements or having to use an extra master page without a running header variable. These last two options could mess things up when the text reflows during the process.

This is not great, but: you could apply Rules to the Chapter Title that cover up the Header and Footer (i.e. 100 pt white stroke, offset above and below).

In general, you should different master pages. However, you’re right that sometimes you want the master page to change based on the content of the page… I believe AutoFlow can help with that: https://in-tools.com/products/plugins/autoflow-pro/

Thank you both, and Colleen: that is a smart solution.
