Why do you want to select a month. I think you have defined all the twelve months as a single string in your custom text. If that so, then delete it and just put one month’s name in the custom text field. For example: March. Similarly, change the March to April in the next month.

or you can use the variable to insert the Month automatically every month:

1) Go to Text Variables
2) Click New….
3) Name the Variable as per your choice for example “Issue Month”
4) Select ‘Modification Date’ from the Drop down Type menu
5) Edit the ‘Date Format:’ to read “MMMM”
6) Click Ok and exit the Text Variables panel.
7) Use the “Issue Month” variable in your footers etc.
