Interesting question! There is no max height of cells, except as you can see, ADE won’t split a cell between screens (similar to how ID won’t split them either).

I honestly don’t know if this is true for all eReaders.

But you may need to redesign this particular table so that instead of 2 columns, you have subheads and copy below the subheads.
