Free lynda.com Videos: Designing Templates With InDesign
You really can’t overstate the importance of a well-designed InDesign template. A great template is the foundation of a successful workflow, and over the course of a project it can save you and you colleagues untold hours of time and toil, and ensure consistent results. That’s why Anne-Marie Concepcion’s new Lynda.com course is so exciting. It’s called Designing Templates with InDesign, and it features 3 and a half hours of tips and techniques for making the perfect InDesign template or starter file for any project. It also includes movies on Microsoft Word authoring templates, ebook templates, and how to create templates from existing documents.
For example, one of the free movies shows how to use a PDF as the basis for a new InDesign template.
In another free movie, you can see tips for creating templates for interactive documents.
