I made an Indesign document for a broker firm and wondering if it would be possible to create a Formfield that would allow any broker to plugin the information that is unique to their property (address, price, etc.) and have it populate the document automatically. In other words, a list (Name, address, phone number, etc.) that they can fill and some of the text in the Indesign will update automatically. Thanks! Also a bonus would be how to do this after exporting it to PDF, because the broker firm doesn’t have Indesign.

Joseph, I produce property brochures as well and have searched for ways to make things easier and simpler. Haven’t found a lot yet, unfortunately.

For what you’re wanting to do, you’d be best using Adobe LiveCycle. It’s the only way to create PDFs where text and graphics can be swapped out while maintaining the style and other elements. You can do some things with Acrobat, but your clients would have to have Acrobat as well (not just Reader). With LiveCycle, you can create PDFs that can do this from within the free Reader program.
