      Hi All
I need some help to apply paragraph rule(Horizontal line)in an empty cell. If there is no content in the cell I will not see the rule. I don’t want to apply space or any kind of symbols in the cell, I just need an empty cell with the rule.

I will be happy with any kind of help.
      Thanks

Tables and cells are text-based objects. A paragraph rule requires a paragraph (you can just type a return). If you just want a line, draw a line, then copy and paste it into your cell. https://i.imgur.com/Wrtmhgg.png (Type->Show Hidden Characters)

Let’s say I have a table with three columns and one row. The right column have cell with data and paragraph rule weight 2pt, same thing to the left column. The middle column is an empty cell, how can I apply the same weight to this cell, with keeping it as an empty cell?

As Colleen said–a paragraph style sheet with a rule below requires something in that cell, whether it be a space band or a hard return. Or instead of using a 2 point rule below in the paragraph style sheets, apply the stroke to the row itself.

Another idea I thought of. On the paragraph style in the first column, go to the rule below and put in a negative right indent. That will increase the rule length to the next column.
