Hello,
I’ve never really used .indb files, but I think this might be the time to start. I realize that how to use them is a different topic, but I want to make sure this even would be a case to use them.
I have about 30 pricing grids for a catalog. Each is it’s own ID file. Each grid has lots of paragraph styles, object styles, cell styles, and table styles. I’m changing fonts for this new catalog and adding some strokes to some of the cells in the table. I have already adjusted one pricing grid ID file with all the new styles I want. Would creating a book be helpful to adjust the other 29 files? About all I know is the the .indb files will synchronize styles from the style source document to the other files in the book.
Would this book feature help me now changing the styles of all the other 29 files of pricing grids. I didn’t change the names of the other styles on the other 29 files, so all 30 files have matching names on all styles.
Long story short…I want to adjust the other 29 pricing grid files to one master that I have now and wondering if the book feature help me at this point so I don’t have to open all the other files and change the styles manually?
Thanks in advance
