      Hello,
I am still working with InDesign CS 2 on Windows 7 and have to import a MS-Word document (book) with about 600 endnotes into InDesign CS 2 german version.
I read that there is a script that can change imported footnotes into endnotes.
However I also read that this shall not work for InDesign CS 2 because the script is based on cross references, only available from CS 4 onwards.
So I finally found a plug-in SBInFnote belonging to Virginia Systems, also available for CS 2. The advertising description is rather promising.

–Before buying it, does anybody outside Virginia Systems have experience with this plug-in? Should I be able to import the Word-manuscript with its files and keep the end notes at the end of the book?

Thank you in advance for your answers and best regards from Old Europe

Virginia Systems has been around since the 1990s, so I know they are a reputable company. I have not used that plug-in, though. I would ask if they have a demo version that you can try first.

        Thank you David,

this will do as information. I had a trial version that was quite limited in its possiblilities but this is often the case of trial versions. I’ll just have a call.
