Does anyone know an easy way to quickly create a image box the same size as the document? It needs to encompass the bleed area as well. I’m doing it manually over and over in a prepress environment. It’s driving me crazy. Thanks for any help!

You might try copying a box you have made and then Edit > Paste in Place (Com-Opt-Shft-V) on subsequent pages. If you have rectos and versos without identical inside and outside margins, you will have to go through the document twice. And, I suggest you search the web for a script; it sounds like the sort of thing for which someone would have written a script.

Or, is there any reason you can’t put it on the master pages on a layer above the other content?

Thanks for the reply. But I’m working with signs so trying to anticipate the sizes ahead of time won’t work. I’m looking for a solution that works on the fly

      Well, I found this

      https://github.com/GitBruno/Novelty/blob/master/Frame_2_Bleed.jsx

It’s almost perfect…strange thing though it only works seems to effect 3 sides of the document in CS6. Better than nothing:-)
