Applying keyboard shortcut to paragraph styles?

      So there’s a box that seems to indicate that one can create a keyboard shortcut for the style but every time I try to type in it I get a thud sound. ???

      what’s missing?

      you have to include a number key from a keypad with your shortcut. Bizarre requirement, esp if you’re using a keyboard without a keypad!

      I don’t bother with that anymore, I just use Quick Apply (Command-Enter)

      Sigh… so I don’t have extended keypad. command+fn+enter(return) opens up Scrivener. command+enter opens itunes. How do I get assign keystroke to QuickDisplay?

      Edit > Keyboard Shortcuts. Look in the product area for the Edit Menu > Quick Apply.

      You jump into iTunes that often? :-D
