      The error message in the topic name is appearing when I try to add or subtract an odd number of pages to/from my InDesign document. A Google search turns up only instances where this message came up when scaling objects and the like, so I'm really not sure what is causing it.

      The document is a university catalog. It has master pages used throughout the document. I'm thinking that it's choking because something later in the document (perhaps on a master page) would run off the pasteboard if a certain left-facing page became a right-facing page, but I can't seem to find anything…

      Do you have any rulers that are used on any masterpages? I've had something similar and it was because of rulers falling of the document area…
