    I am doing a book with an Hebrew and Portugues translitarated pages in paralel, and the page number is the same.

    Is It possible to do an automatic numbering like this exemple?: 1,1,2,2,3,3,4,4,5,5,6,6….

    Please, any help would be Great.

    Can you keep them as two seperate books, and the printers can easily impose them for printing at a later date.

    If you can't – then InDesign has no way to automate this process.

    You would have to thread a text frame from each odd and even page with numbering already inserted to fill out the page numbers.

    You could also make just 1 large page for the 2 languages. The page number is then the same.

    When you make in the end a pdf, you could easily split them in 2 (if it is needed) with the cut command in Acrobat.
